About Matt
As the founder and lead behavior analyst at Empower Autism Omaha, I am dedicated to providing compassionate, one-on-one ABA therapy for children with autism and developmental delays. With over a decade of experience, I work closely with families to develop personalized treatment plans that foster meaningful growth for each child.
Matt’s Background
I earned my certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2010 and have since worked with children of all ages and abilities. My specialties include assessing and addressing severe challenging behaviors, teaching communication skills, and building essential life and social skills. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of helping children make incredible strides through individualized and evidence-based ABA therapy.
Matt’s Approach and Values
My approach to ABA therapy is grounded in collaboration with families and caregivers. I believe that by maintaining a small caseload and offering direct access to me, I can provide the dedicated, focused care that every child deserves. I am committed to working hand-in-hand with families to create treatment plans tailored to their specific goals and their child’s unique needs.
Outside of Work
Outside of work, I’m happiest spending time with my wife and our two dogs, especially if it involves being outdoors. I’m usually up before the sun, so early morning runs are my favorite way to start the day. We love hitting the road for camping trips or heading to Colorado for some backpacking. Traveling is a big passion, and I’m always up for a new adventure—especially if it includes scuba diving. Family time is a big deal for us too, whether we’re at a family barbecue or cheering on our nephews and nieces at their games and school events. These moments keep life fun and fulfilling.
