What is ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis)?

ABA is a therapy based on the science of behavior, helping individuals learn new skills, improve communication and social skills, and reduce challenging behaviors. For children with autism or other developmental challenges, ABA focuses on building skills in a way that’s meaningful and rewarding by using positive reinforcement and tailoring programs to each child’s needs.

Who can benefit from ABA therapy?

What does an ABA session look like?

Sessions often include skill-building activities, behavior interventions, and positive reinforcement, guided by individualized goals.

How are goals for therapy determined?

Goals are based on assessments, collaboration with families, and focus on each client’s unique needs.

What role do parents or caregivers play in ABA therapy?

Caregivers play an active role in generalizing skills through parent training and ongoing involvement in therapy.

What insurances do you accept?

We currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Midland’s Choice, and Molina Medicaid (NE).

What services do you offer?

We provide home-based services to those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This includes direct one-on-one ABA therapy, parent/family training, and collaboration with other services providers relevant to your child’s success including school staff, Speech Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, etc.  

What is the difference between a BCBA and an RBT?

BCBAs supervise therapy and plan interventions, while RBTs deliver therapy sessions directly with clients under BCBA guidance.

How long does ABA therapy take?

Duration varies based on individual needs, with therapy adjusted as goals are achieved or new ones are set.
